In a recessionary climate, Reed Specialist Recruitment’s consultants needed a good reason to pick up the phone and speak to their clients. They wanted to add value, without appearing to be directly drumming up new business.
The idea was to generate a rally call through creating a sense of nationalism, branding it Keep Britain Working. An online ideas sharing forum asked Britons the question on everyone’s lips – what do you think the Government can do to Keep Britain Working?
The campaign ran just shy of 18 months, and was supported by all main Political Parties. To conclude the campaign, 1,000 of the best ideas were collated in a book and presented directly to David Cameron for consideration.
